Young Kai cross-examined by Sergeant Foord states:-
I did not know to whom the money was paid that I paid to A Pong and Chii Tsai Kan.
Tai Pau Chi told me that the money was for you. Tai Pau Chi was the master of the gambling house.
I paid A Pong from the 1st. noon of last year up to the time that A Pong went away.
I have not known A Pong very long. He was formerly employed in the Kowloon Gambling house.
He got his living by gambling.
He did not come to Hongkong to gamble.
I paid him because the master of the house told me to do so.
He did not come to our house to gamble. I paid him myself. I would know him if I saw him.
I do not know where he is banished to. I do not know what District he belongs to.
Tai Pau Chi is a Tung Koon.
Sergeant Foord states:-
